The Scott & Hoffnagle Scholarship Fund (the “Fund”) is excited to offer College Scholarship Awards for the Continuing Education of an individual pursuing higher education in a Construction related field. Everyday at Commonwealth Fire Protection We Save Lives by building and installing new sprinkler systems, maintaining and servicing those in operation, and providing emergency service, and routine NFPA & NICET inspections on commercial, industrial, and residential fire sprinkler systems in PA, NJ, MD, DE.

2020 Scholarship Award Recipients – Congratulations and Thank You !!!
Commonwealth Fire Protection Company and the Scott & Hofffnagle College Scholarship Award Fund are proud to announce the (4) Four Winners of the 2020 Scott & Hoffnagle Scholarships.
The Top Winner of $7,500 will be presented to Issac Vail of Harrisburg, PA. Issac will be attending The Pennsylvania State University (PSU) in Middletown, Pa. Issac will be studying Civil Engineering. While attending CD High School, Issac was the Captain of the Varsity Swim Team and a member of the National Honor Society. He also attended the US Naval Academy Summer Seminar and the Society of American Military Engineers Camp. Issac is very involved in Community Service with the PSU Children’s Miracle Network, Special Olympics, and with his church, Christian Life Assembly.
The Winners of the (2) two $5,000 awards will be presented to Grant Kerchner of Lancaster, PA and Brayden Cooper of Harrisburg, PA.
Grant Kerchner will be attending the Messiah College in Mechanicsburg, for Civil Engineering. While attending L-S High School, Grant was presented the Burrows Scholar Award for demonstrating diligence and a keen desire for academic excellence. Grant is also a Member of the National Honors Society. Grant loves playing baseball and volunteering at Willow Valley Retirement Center.
Brayden Cooper will be attending The Pennsylvania College of Technology in Williamsport, PA and will be studying Electrical Construction. Brayden is described as creative, organized, hardworking and friendly. Brayden spends time volunteering with the Food Bank and the YMCA.
The Winner of the $2,500 award will be presented to Jason Lookenbill of Mechanicsburg, Pa. Jason will be attending Clarion University on Clarion, PA studying Speech-Language Pathology. While at New Oxford HS, Jason was a member of the National Honor Society, Rho Kappa national Social Studies Honors Society and received the Sisters of Saints Cyril & Methodius Servant Leadership Award. Jason played on the Varsity Football and Lacrosse team and was a leader for both teams. He volunteers at a very high level and is very involved with Christian studies and fellowship.
Previous 2019 Scholarship Winners:
$7,500 – Easton Hendrikson is from Nottingham, PA. He will be attending Thaddeus Stevens College of Technology in Metals Fabrication & Welding Technology.
$5,000 – Gabriel Hall is a 2019 graduate of Delone Catholic High School in Hanover, Pa. He will be attending the University of Delaware to study Mechanical Engineering.
$5,000 – Alyssa Morlock graduated in 2019 from Boyertown Area Senior High School. She will be attending Widener University to study Nursing.
$2,500 – Christopher Kauffman is a 2019 graduate from Hanover Senior High School. He will be attending Lebanon Valley College in their Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.
